What is Osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is a bone sickness that happens when the body loses excess of bone, makes excessively minimal bone, or both. Thus, bones become weak and may break due to a fall or, in severe cases, from sneezing or minor knocks.This is a common issue in the country with over 10 million reports per year and many people have no symptoms until they have a bone fracture.
Common causes of Osteoporosis
Your body constantly makes new bones — when you are young, the process is much faster, however, theis process slows down with age. As people get old, bone mass is lost faster than it’s created. The risk of being diagnosed with Osteoporosis depnds on howm much bone you put on when you were young and peak bone mass is king of inherited and varies by ethnicity as well.
Common symptoms of Osteoporosis
- Back pain, due to a fractured or collapsed vertebra
- Loss of height as you age
- A stooped, or bad posture
- A bone that breaks much easily than anticipated
- Sudden, severe back pain
- Back pain when bending
- Loss of height
- Curved or stooped posture
- Back pain when walking or standing
